I can’t have so much to be thankful for without having a few or a lot of people to be thankful to for. After all, I am no superhero, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve over 9,500 bad and beautiful days worth of XP without the real heroes in my every day life.
If I could shower them with money or hand each of them an island on a floating giant silver plate in the Caribbean, I would. But neither a superhero nor a billionaire, I can’t. Well, it’s not a good day for woes.
It is a good day to show my gratitude, though, without fear of accusation of being corny unlike the other 364 days. And if I can’t buy something, sure as the New World I could make something.
Of course, this is Pluto to the Universe cost of an island, but I lovingly spent hours on these tokens to give. So to the people I owe a lot to, thank you!
So I was a little torn here. I didn’t want to delay revealing the tokens inside the gift-wrapped packages as I didn’t want to build up expectations over very simple gifts. But then again, I also didn’t want to reveal the tokens before they have been unwrapped by the recipients. Thus, I’ll just check in here soon to write a bit about the simple DIY tokens I have made for this year’s Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving 2013, everyone!
