I discovered this amazing DOSCO needle catalog and was inspired by it so much that I decided to document into a booklet my own samples of needles. My collection is not as big and diverse yet, but it is growing and after this, you can be sure I will be religiously on the lookout for vintage and collectible needles.
Over the years, Singer (one of the world’s leaders in sewing machines founded in 1851) has produced millions of needles in ever changing packaging. I would be happy to be on a hunt for these and other vintage packaging.
I have a few more packets of random needles of different make and catalogued them all in a single book. I bound the needle catalogue with hardcover and will show you a walkthrough on how to bind books when I have the chance. Also, it looks like I will be documenting my other collections this way. Maybe I'll work on a stamp catalogue and I’ll be sure to bother you with it soon!
