For another instalment of Custom Journal Cards, we’ll be making journal cards or fillers with grid lines. Because don’t you just hate it when you write something so long and once you put it up to appreciate it you notice that the lines were crooked? You are caught in the dilemma between keeping an aesthetically challenged creation or rewriting everything again. Everything.
Background lines and grids are the answer. The key is to make them light enough to be obscure but clear enough to be reliable when you do get to the writing part.
Here, you can download a free grid pattern that you can use to print on any paper to get the grid background for your journalling cards. You can simply cut them in sizes you please.
Well, there are the cards, and you can actually leave them at that. But they look to me like they’re just itching to be customized. So I played around a little with some stamps and blending chalk, and you’d be thrilled to know that most of these craft items can be found locally.
